I started this project because 1: UTAUloids look cool and I wanna do that too, 2: So I can sing all my favorite VOCALOID/Japanese songs without "technically" singing it. I'm just revisiting this after attempting to make 2 CV Voicebanks, so I'll be taking my time between recordings.In the meantime, please enjoy the Shine voicebanks available and read the TOU before use.*This site is intended for desktop view, but as of June 2025 it is compatible with mobile.
*All illustrations and voices are provided by Callum, the creator of Project Wameku.Most voicebanks will start out in VCV, but I intend on making different kinds of voicebanks for all variations of Shine's Japanese banks (CV, VCV, VCCV, CVVC), but due to the nature of non-Japanese (i.e. English, Korean, Chinese, to name a few) voicebanks only CVVC will be available.

SOUND
喚音しね KIRE is a hoarse and harsh sound. They go well in song with more harsh vocals, such as rock/metal songs, but any genre is good. The voice samples are altered by Audacity to minimize background noise & change initial pitch as much as possible, but certain samples may sound breathier than others.

Moresampler is recomended, as it makes them sound clearer, but you're allowed to experiment. Do NOT use the Worldline-R resampler. It makes longer notes sound more scratchy and overall horrible.

The voicebank should work with vanilla UTAU and UTAU-Synth retrospectively.Due to restrictions of the voice provider (me) Shine has an American accent. Shine tends to end sounds abruptly, so fading out during mixing is recommended if need be.This voicebank is Kana encoded. Shine's illustration is included with download.The oto.ini file was generated by Moresampler & Presamp with the help of u/MouseDarkArts. Certain sounds (such as dzi, dye, etc.) are in romaji.

tn_fnds is the cleanest resampler. So if you need Shine to sound a bit more clear, this resampler is your best bet. I even used this in my release demo cover!MACRES
Macres is choppier, hence the least recommended resampler.Additional resamplers (i.e. TIPS) that have not been added as a sample have not been tested. Use untested resamplers at your own risk.
